InkSpire allows you to export your entire manuscript to several common formats for editing, sharing, or backup.
Exports are designed to produce clean output without editor-only elements.
Available Export Formats
InkSpire currently supports exporting the entire book to the following formats:
- DOCX – For editing in word processors
- PDF – For reading and sharing
- HTML – For web or further processing
- TXT – Plain text without formatting
All exports operate on the full project, not individual scenes or chapters.
How to Export
To export your work:
- Open the project you want to export
- Go to the Edit menu
- Choose the desired export format
- Select a location to save the file

What Is Included in Exports

- Scene content text
- Basic text formatting (where supported)
- Chapter and scene order
Exports do not include:
- Scene titles
- In-editor headings
- Planning panels (World, Research, Characters)
- Editor-only metadata

Export Notes & Limitations
