If a recording does not occur as expected:
- Verify the channel or playlist is available at the scheduled recording time.
- Verify that a recording destination has been configured.
- Ensure sufficient storage space is available.
- Verify SMB settings if using Network / SMB recording.
- Check for overlapping recordings that exceed your configured simultaneous stream limit.
- Keep Zeeko installed and available for scheduled recordings.
Recording Storage
Zeeko supports three recording destinations:
- Network / SMB (Recommended) – Best and most reliable.
- Local / USB Folder – Available on devices that support Android’s folder picker.
- Device / USB App Storage – Fallback for devices that do not provide Android’s folder picker.
Deleting Recordings
There are two different types of deletion:
Deleting a Scheduled Recording
Removing a scheduled recording prevents the recording from occurring. No recording file is created.
Deleting a Completed Recording
Deleting a completed recording from the Playback section removes:
- The recording file from storage
- The recording entry from Zeeko
This frees the storage space used by the recording.
